In the city centre

Located right in the centre of Madrid, on Conde de Romanones street, number 8, 2nd floor. Dark green gates. Where it says HOSTALES, ring on the RESI ALVARO button.

Next to Tirso de Molina underground and 5 minutes from Mayor Square and Puerta del Sol, our Residence will be like your own home.

You can walk to the main attractions of the city: Royal Palace, museums (Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen), Gran Via with its theatres and cinemas.

We are next to Santa Ana Square and Huertas street, full of restaurants, terraces and bars with music.

How to get there from the airport?

TAXI

Around 20/30 minutes. It costs 30 € flat rate

TRAIN

Around 40/50 minutes. 2,60€ (6am - 23pm)

Trains start at Terminal 4. From Terminals T1, T2, T3 there is a free bus to get to T4.

Take the train to Nuevos Ministerios, once there change to platform: all trains stop at Sol.

From Sol it takes 7 minutes walking. Follow calle Carretas (240 metres), Plaza Jacinto Benavente (80 m), calle Concepción Jerónima (14 m). Turn left at calle Conde de Romanones (40 m). Residencia Alvaro is on number 8.

BY UNDERGROUND

Around 45 minutes. It costs 5€.

Take line 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios. In Nuevos Ministerios, change to Line 10 (dark blue) to Tribunal. There change to Line 1 (blue) to Tirso de Molina. (There are stairs and they are not mechanical). Exit to Conde de Romanones.

BUS EXPRESS

From the Airport to Atocha. It costs 5€.

They run 24 hours. The two closest bus stops are:

Cibeles: from there it takes 20 minutes walking to the Residencia Álvaro or you can take a taxi (about 10 €)

Atocha Renfe: About 20 minutes walking (1.500 m) or buses 32 and 26 until Plaza Jacinto Benavente, 5 minutes, (Plaza Jacinto Benavente (20 m), calle Concepción Jerónima (14 m). Turn left at calle Conde de Romanones (40 m). Residencia Alvaro is on number 8 o until Plaza Tirso de Molina , 5 minute. (Where you see Madrid Fusion building that is the street.
